3-Days Maasai Mara - Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp

The Masai Mara is considered by many to be one of Kenya's finest game reserves. The rolling grasslands that form part of the Serengeti ecosystem offer ideal game viewing and photographic opportunities.

The Game Reserve hosts the world famous spectacle of the annual migration of up to two million wildebeest, thousands of zebras and an escort of carnivores from the Serengeti plains, following the rains and shooting new grass. The migration is in Maasai Mara betwwen July and early Oct.

However, wildlife abound in this park throughout the year. Some of the animals which can be seen include elephant, lion, black rhino, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Hippo and crocodile abound in the muddy brown waters of the rivers which traverse the Reserve.

Your 2 Nights stay during this safari will be at the wolrd class Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp - and this will  make you feel very close and one with nature.

Day 1: Mombasa/Fly Maasai Mara
Morning transfer to Mombasa Airport (north coast) or Ukunda Airstrip (south coast) for your scheduled flight to Maasai Mara, departing between 07:30hrs and 08:00hrs. During the flight, enjoy an aerial view of Africa's highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro as well as some distinct features of the Great Rift Valley.
Arrive in Maasai Mara approx 10:30 hrs and to be met by your host to transfer to Kichwa Tembo Camp Tented Camp. After settling in, lunch will be served at the camp resturant, then to be followed by an afternoon game drive that introduces you to this game filled sanctuary. Return to the luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Maasai Mara
Spend the day in Maasai Mara with a morning and an afternoon game drive. You will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. All meals and overnight at Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara/Fly Mombasa
Another morning game drive in Maasai Mara. After lunch transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Mombasa departing at 14:00hrs and arriving approx. 16:3 hrs. Meet by our representative and transfer back to your hotel. End of services. Meal Plan: {B, L}
