3-Days Maasai Mara - Mara Serena Lodge

The Masai Mara is considered by many to be one of Kenya's finest game reserves. The rolling grasslands that form part of the Serengeti ecosystem offer ideal game viewing and photographic opportunities.

The Game Reserve hosts the world famous spectacle of the annual migration of up to two million wildebeest, thousands of zebra and an escort of carnivores from the Serengeti plains, following the rains and succulent new grass. The migration is in Maasai Mara betwwen July and early Oct.

However, wildlife abound in this park throughout the year. Some of the animals which can be seen include elephant, lion, black rhino, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Hippo and crocodile abound in the muddy brown waters of the rivers which traverse the Reserve.

Day 1: Mombasa/Fly to Maasai Mara
Morning transfer to Mombasa Airport for your scheduled flight to Maasai Mara with incredible aerial views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Great Rift Valley, departing at 07:30 hrs and arriving approx. 10:30 hrs. You will be greeted by your host and transfer to Mara Serena Lodge. Lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Maasai Mara
After early morning Tea/Coffee, we depart on an early morning game drive followed by Hippo Pool Breakfast served nearby the Mara River teeming with hippos. The rest of the morning is at leisure. After lunch at the lodge an afternoon game drive follows. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Maasai Mara/Fly back to Mombasa
Another morning game drive in Maasai Mara. After lunch transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Mombasa departing at 14:00 hrs and arriving approx. 16:30 hrs. You will be picked up by our representative and transferred to your hotel. End of services. Meal Plan: {B, L}
