  • Children between the ages of two and 12 sharing a room with parents are charged 50 % of the adult rate
  • Children of the same age group staying in a separate room are charged 75 % of the adult rate

3-Days Tsavo East & West Nat Parks


Duration: 3 day(s) - Location: Tsavo East / East Nat Parks

Depart Mombasa in the morning and drive along the Mombasa/Nairobi Highway. In just about two and half hrous, you will enter Tsavo East Nat Park via Bachuma Gate. Much of the park is level, open country with scattered rocky ridges and outcrops and the major attractions of the park include large herds of elephants and other wildlife including buffalo, giraffe and lion. Not to miss will be The Aruba Dam, built in 1952 across the Voi river that attracts many animals and water birds.
Accommodation at Tsavo East will be at the strategically located Voi Safari Lodge

Day 2 We will travel to Tsavo West National Park, part of the Tsavo eco-system, which is separated from the vast Tsavo East National Park by only the Mombasa- Nairobi highway. The park offers a diversity of habitats, wildlife and a mountainous scenic landscape. The biggest attraction in Tsavo West is Mzima Springs, the stream of crystal-clear water where various fish, crocodiles and hippos live.
Accommodation at Tsavo West National Park will be at Ngulia Safari Lodge.

Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa/Tsavo East

Pick up from your hotel early in the morning and drive along the Mombasa/Nairobi Highway. Enter Tsavo East National Park via Bachuma Gate, and immediately embark on a game drive via Aruba Dam and en route to Voi Safari Lodge, arriving in time for lunch. The high location of the lodge provides excellent views for watching the herds of wild animals roam beneath you as they congregate at the three water holes below the lodge. Proceed for an afternoon game drive at about 4.00pm, returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo East/Tsavo West

We'll embark on an early morning game drive before breakfast, then depart Tsavo East shortly after breakfast for Tsavo West National Park with a game drive en route to Ngulia Safari Lodge. We will arrive in time for lunch, followed by another afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Tsavo West/Mombasa

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive including a visit to the Mzima Springs, then returning to Ngulia Safari Lodge for late breakfast. Depart soon after with another game drive en route. Stop for lunch at Lion Hill Zomeni Lodge in Voi before returning to Mombasa and arriving late afternoon. Drop back at your hotel. End of safari services.
