Originally built in the 70s as a private family retreat, the Sheshe Baharini Beach Hotel, which translated means "A beautiful place by the sea" is now an intimate five star hotel with a total focus on luxury and superb service.
Locally know as the "Castle" due to its unique mixture of African, Moorish and Portuguese design, the Sheshe Baharini Beach Hotel reflects the rich heritage of the Kenyan coast and is located on Tiwi beach, one of Kenya's finest.

A crystal clear pool in the garden invites you to relax and while away the time just watching the ocean or the antics of our troupe of resident Vervet monkeys.
Guests can also enjoy a relaxed snack or cocktail at the roof top terrace lounge of the original "Castle", enjoy a drink and pizza at the pizzeria or dine at the al fresco restaurant overlooking the magnificient Indian Ocean.
All food served at Sheshe Baharini Beach Hotel is prepared on the premises by first class chefs, using only the freshest ingredients, which are sourced locally, whenever possible.
Local fishermen can often be seen in the mornings bringing their local catch to the kitchen door, for you to enjoy at a romantic dinner, watching the moon rise over the sea, later in the evening.

Policies and Other Information
Guests have to check out of their room by 10am.
They can leave their luggage in the reception area and spend
the day on site and eat from the a'la carte restaurant.
- If available we provide a room for freshening up.
- If the room the client is staying in is available then the guests can pay 50% of the prevailing rate and use the room till their required check out time. This does not include meals. This
option is subject to availability.
Children policy:
- Children 12 years and below sharing with 2 adults pay 50% of rate.
- Children 12 yrs and below sharing own room pay 75% of adult rate.
- Children 3 years and below sharing with parents are free.
